The things I'm most proud of our my boys, Jason and Jett. Jason is 18 and has just finished his senior year. Awaiting his graduating ceremony on June 5. Until then, he is preparing for the regional track meet tomorrow at Amherst. He's running the 4 x 100. He and his running peeps qualified yesterday for the finals tomorrow. If they do well, they will be on their way to states next weekend. What a way to finish his senior year of high school.
My little man, Jett. He's my youngest at 10. What handsome little guy, though he's not very little. He's almost 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. He's highly intelligent. He blows my mind how smart he is. He played flag football this spring and boy was he good! He was a little hesitant about playing because we switched his league (a whole another blog). He ended up enjoying it because for the first time in his football career, he had someone from his class on his team. His team started off slow but they finished strong. His coach had him and a few other kids play quarterback. Damn, what an arm he has. He had never played quarterback before; never interested. Maybe, just maybe he was afraid that I'd compare him to Brett Favre or Aaron Rogers. Quite honestly, there's no comparison, Jett is Jett and better than both of those guys!
